Coaching Seth, I am a more recent fan of Seth having met and worked with him starting in 2017. I had met him via Dave Blundin prior to this time but it was a quick handshake while running from one meeting to another. Seth called me in when there were some challenges in Everquote as I had been through those same challenges in my public company a few years before. I loved that he was so energetic and engaged-there was no detail or insight he did not want to dig into when we first met. He was curious, smart, and insightful. I also loved how he managed Everquote by being in a communal conference room so he could be involved in all discussions. His drive for success was remarkable. He would not rest until he felt he had understood the problem and explored lots of choices to fix it. Over time, we shared stories of our families and our day-to-day lives. He was so proud of his children-even amazed by their accomplishments and exploration of life. You saw a delighted look in his eyes when he spoke of the latest exploits and time with his family. It was delightful to see this part of Seth. As time went on and we had new issues and challenges from a business standpoint or from the pandemic, that connection with Seth remained very strong for me. Even meeting on zoom did not diminish his vibrancy and personality. Seth’s star burns brightly in my memory. I was blessed to know him and was honored to coach and mentor him in business. I often found myself learning from Seth perhaps more than he learned from me. Mark Casady
